haha, obviously my fabulous texture applied in 3Ds Max. will work on learning about those UV things this weekend. here is what it was supposed to look like.

hey guess what, dino time. i feel my childhood of loving Jurassic park has prepared me for this very moment. i am totally going to make the coolest trex in all of ever. that and all other animals because what else was i drawing as a kid. ANIMALS AND DINOSAURS THATS WHAT.

aaaaand i also learned how to make nice screenshots. BPR (best preview render) thank you.  no more ganky print screen to photoshop! there is some minor painting, but i think the material is doing most of the work here. i had trouble converting the  sphere3d to a polymesh (like the button just didn’t work even if i started a new document) so i grabbed an eyeball i previously made and re painted. whats the deal zbrush? y u no wurk?

still difficult to sculpt: eyelids (though i love them most), behind the ear, and of course feet and hands (we are going to have a fight pretty soon.)
